BUNGEE LEVELS

Our bungee classes are designed to help you navigate your fitness experience. They are arranged in four levels of increasing difficulty and intensity. You should be confident in the concepts of each layer before progressing to the next level.

Classes

First time Flyfit clients must start here

This is where you’ll start your bungee journey with us. In Level 1 we will get you fitted into your harness and determine how many bungee cords you will need. You will then learn safety essentials, proper technique, and the important footwork of bungee fitness. You’ll discover just how much fun you can have while participating in a bungee class at Flyfit. Once you have attended this pre-requisite class and feel confident in the movements, you can move on to Level 2.

All clients must attend at least one Level 1 class before attending a Level 2 class

In this class, you will build onto your basics and endurance level as you’re challenged to learn more advanced skills and routines. Repetitively practicing your technique as we add more routines will prepare you and your stamina for a faster paced Level 3.

All clients must attend at least one Level 2 class before attending a Level 3 class

In this level you will learn the last of the skill sets, fine-tune your technique, and continue to challenge your endurance. You will also begin your strength training with weights at this level, to achieve a full-body workout. In Level 3 you will feel your confidence and endurance increase with the fast-paced format and fun music!

All clients must attend at least one Level 3 class before attending a Level 4 class

After gaining confidence from the previous levels, come put all that you have learned into practice. Level 4 routines are packed with all the skills to boost cardio, fly higher, and maximize the fun! Instructors will also incorporate weights to focus on toning muscle.

All clients must attend at least one Level 1 class before attending a BOOTCAMP

Do you want an immediate burn, without going through all 4 levels of bungee fitness? Bungee BOOTCAMP takes the simple skill sets learned in Level 1, and challenges you in one continual cardio push (No stopping to learn new skills, all endurance!) This class is split into two sections: In-harness cardio + out-of-harness strength training. After your cardio burst, you will use weights, booty bands, and core routines to sculpt and build muscle!

What to expect and is bungee fitness right for you?

Flyfit Bungee Fitness is an innovative, exciting, and fun new concept in the fitness industry. This low impact, high intensity form of exercise is great for most, but what should you expect and is this exercise right for you?

Is This Right For You?

If you suffer from any ailments, please talk to a physician before starting any new type of fitness or exercise program. Some restrictions specific to Flyfit Bungee Fitness include pregnancy, any recent surgeries, weight of less than 90 lbs and a weight of greater than 245 lbs. Participants must be at least 16 years old. Older teens 16 & 17 must be accompanied by a parent who is present or participating in a class.

What To Expect And What To Wear?

While bungee fitness reduces impact by up to 70 percent, we still offer high energy. If you struggle to do one burpee unassisted, or have any difficulty staying active for more than three minutes at a time, you may find this workout challenging.

Plan on arriving 15 minutes early! Each client will need to complete a waiver and health questionnaire. Each client is then privately weighed and each station is customized for each individual. We provide all equipment needed for workout. Be sure to eat a couple hours before class and empty your bladder before you come (or when you arrive.) You will want to wear tight leggings, high-impact sports bra, and good workout shoes! If you are worried about sensitivity from the harness, wearing shorts on top of leggings will provide additional layers. We also will provide additional foam padding for optimal comfort. 

Prepare to get sweaty! Bring a water and a sweat towel. (Tip: Black clothing will hide sweat best.) Don’t be late! The doors lock at class time. Once our Flight Crew is in their harnesses, they will not be able to stop the warm-up to take late arrivals. Children under the ages of 12 will not be allowed inside the studio.
